Changing the way you view and manage your health so that you can become your own health expert is something that Dr. Kyle is extremely passionate about. This week we will be focusing on how to create a healthy mindset. This is something that is so crucial to health that many people do not priortize enough! When pursuing a health goal things can get challenging and disappointing at times, but Dr. Kyle wants to share hope as to how to create a lifestyle of healthy thinking no matter what circumstances you may be facing.
One of the most important things to keep in mind is the WHY behind what you’re doing. Your “why” must be something that you are emotionally and physically attached to that you can always go back to when things get hard. For example, your “why” might be your children or your need for health or else you may be in danger of disease. Take some time to figure out your “why” and keep it in front of you and practice discipline. Also, find people to hold you accountable to your goal! Surrounding yourself with encouraging people who will empower you is crucial for a sound, healthy mind!
Live From The Truth Of God’s Word
Dr. Kyle shares some important scriptures from the Bible that are extremely encouraging and will help you form a healthy mindset. Ephesians 2:8-10 says “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” This is good news! If we are created in the workmanship of Jesus Christ, the perfect One, we know that we are wonderfully made and that He writes our story! This scripture also states that we have been created to do good works that God already prepared for us to walk in beforehand. So whatever your “good work” is that you have as a goal, in Him you cannot fail and you were meant for it! We must not get to the end of our lives and realize we did not even attempt to walk in the good works that He had planned for us. May we always live with the end in mind so that our story lines up with the one God wrote for us. Another scripture is from James 1:2-6. This states how we must consider it JOY when we face trials because the testing of our faith produces endurance, and we must let endurance have its perfect result so that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. The end result of trials are extremely rewarding and so much hope can be found in the midst of them. Jesus always promise to give us wisdom! Meditate on these scriptures and let them transform your mind!
John 4:34 “Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.'”
