We are the sickest country in the world. Our life expectancy is decreasing. Our infant mortality rate is higher in America than it is in any other industrialized country. 1 out of 2 people have heart disease. 1 out of 3 people has cancer. These statistics should be eye-opening and awakening.
Less is More
We have more doctors and medicine than any other country, yet we remain the sickest ones. If doctors and medication were the answer to all health issues, should we be the sickest country? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again while expecting different results. Our healthcare system has continued to use a system labeled “health” care, yet the system focuses more on disease than true health. With an endless amount of medications and treatments, we should become healthier and lessen the amount of healthcare needed. However, as time passes it proves over and over again that this is not the case.
A New Foundation
If you had no idea the true meaning of health, you would at least understand some necessities for a healthy lifestyle such as regular physical checkups and a visit to an eye care center for your optical health, as well as clean water, clean oxygen, clean food, clean minerals, and more. You can understand the importance of rest to regenerate your health. You also know that movement is important, beyond working out, for a healthy body. More than just the physical aspects, a healthy lifestyle requires a mindset shift. The core values of Queen City Health Center layout a true foundation for health. If you focus on these five things, you will begin to advocate a healthy life for yourself and see drastic changes outside of following the protocols of our current health care system.
